Hey Limette's!

We have loved them all; the Emmys, Golden Globes, SAG, Grammys & Sundance red carpets, but when it comes to Hollywood glamour, nothing is like the Academy Awards. For 82 years the stars of Hollywood prep & primp for this honored day in the world of glitz & glamour and I am glad they do! Lets be honest Limette's - the Academy award red carpet is the grand finale of award shows and truly the most fabulous when it comes to fashion & style. Which, of course, is why we at LLD are so excited when it comes around.

Here are my picks for the best dressed from the 2010 Academy Award...

I honestly don't know what eptomizes glamour more, Jennifer Lopez or Armani Privee. But when you put the two together, fashion fireworks happen! JLo was back from the block & better than ever looking radiant in a dramatic and very-oscar gown by Armani Privee. While I enjoyed her daring look at the Grammy's, this certainly made up for the risk that didn't necessarily pay off! This look hit the red carpet jackpot!

All hail the most respected, honored and effortlessly chic woman in Hollywood. A personal favorite of mine, Meryl Streep wow'd us all again with an elegantly draped white gown designed by Project Runway winner Chris March. I applaud Chris for being so spot-on when it comes to designing for a woman who could look glamorous in a garbage bag; simple elegance was all she needed & Chris did it effortlessly. I applaud Merly because, well, she is Merly Streep and she is what all woman should want to be; poised, polished and respected.
