Hey Limette's!
Michael Kors certainly put the power back in power suit. He sent down constructed sheaths and tailored pieces that would make anyway woman feel like Broadway was her runway. The tone down the runway was sleek sophistication. In Kors tradition, the pieces were sporty and wearable with a definite flair. Dresses were sexy and the suits had force with strong shoulder. The fabrics were a little on the heavy side for spring but the color, drapery and cut outs in each item gave it a lighter feel. The color palette consisted of mainly blacks and whites infused with beautiful tones of green and blue. There was a fresh feel to all the pieces and overall a very fun show!
We wouldn't wear a dress with clear plastic paneling, but we don't care. MK proves that not every piece needs to be wearable, as long as your audience understands the collection...
