Hey Limette's!
As NYC's Fashion Week comes to an end we, of course, will take a quick glance back on our favorite's...
Michael Angel blended textures and colors in a way that illuminated garments, BCBG Max Azria had youthful pieces with modern styling and L.A.M.B's collection perfectly balanced the edgy softness Gwen herself always seems to rock.
Diane Von Furstenberg played with feminine lines & sexy silhouettes, Hervé Léger was full of sparkle and sex appeal and Cynthia Steffe showed playful and whimsical pieces in a realistic and wearable manner.
Jason Wu sent down beautifully constructed pieces that screamed sophistication, Reem Acra's collection focused on bright colors, fun florals & daring drapery and Zac Posen's collection was full of liveliness and energy.
Donna Karan has us feeling we could go from the boardroom to cocktails with ease and grace, Carolina Herrera's was classic & sophisticated and Marc Jacobs had us begging for more.
Michael Kors put the power back in power suit. Oscar de la Renta had us praying we had a gala to attend & Ralph Lauren once again reminded everyone that he knows what American fashion is all about.
So ladies, it doesn't matter if you are stretching your dollar or swiping your black Amex, fashion is a language we all speak and a passion we all share. These designers & their collections re-lit our fashion flames and made us want to shop without regret because we deserve it!
Truth be told; we may be in a recession, but we certainly won't be wearing rags!
Lots of Lime,
Your Stylist
