Hey Limette's!
Ah, the city of lights and dreams and unbelievable fashion! We have nothing to say but OMG!
Enjoy my reviews of my favorite three shows from Paris Fashion Week.
Stella McCartney: Modern and chic with a sophisticated simplicity of women from the early 1900’s is what the Stella McCartney show debuted. Keeping to her very feminine feel she twisted the borrowed from the boys trend to be her own. The show was filled with soft lines and large ruffles, making for a beautiful collection of truly famine items filled with sheen fabrics. The show began with beautifully tailored pieces and transitioned into a denim story where the confidence did anything but fade. The ending was bold; with eye -popping pieces in vibrant reds, blues and yellows there was a gorgeous elegance with lots of flowing lines, fun designs and light dresses.

Karl Lagerfeld: Shorts, dresses and all-in-one suits were the foundation to the Karl Lagerfeld show. Lagerfeld had stunning pieces that showcased his innovative design and dynamic combinations. With a new take on the shorts he emphasized the hips, rounding them out. The pieces were all so realistic and wearable with fun twists and beautiful lines. The crisp colors in solids and patterns with metal detailing is what made the eye-catching show perfectly suited for springtime charm.
Chanel: Classic! With textures and layers and an abundance of detailing; traditional twill jackets and black dresses dominated the collection using lace, see-through solids and twill. A provocative and sexy show was created by the modern spin that was brought to each piece. The stark difference between the gorgeous clothing and the rustic background gave the show a unique flair. With a simple but dynamic color palette of beige, black and white Lagerfeld truly designed, yet again, a spectacular show.
