I hope you all had a fabulous holiday & are getting ready to ring in the New Year in style. New Years Eve is one of my favorite holidays because I absolutely adore dressing up and going out on the town with friends! This year I will be enjoying a lovely three-course dinner at a rooftop lounge in NYC, so my look for this NYE has to be classy & sophisticated.
This beautiful silk dress is a fabulous LBD. The dress is chic & simple with a slenderizing silhouette, and the ruffled one shoulder adds flair making it a different & elegant piece. I love to wear an LBD because it allows me to have fun accessorizing, just be sure to offset simple black with a bit of sparkle from rhinestones or satin! To compliment the ruffle on the shoulder and to keep the look sleek & chic from head to toe, I chose a satin ruffle pump in red (for that perfect pop of color) for less than $30! As for jewelry, I'll layer my two bracelets on my right arm to balance out the ruffle on the left shoulder, my rhinestone ring is fun and edgy and since I will be wearing my hair tied back, the chandelier earrings are a great addition to the look. Finally, a simple black clutch to close the deal!
This dress was the most expensive item in this look at $198; since I spent most of my NYE budget on the dress I stuck with low-price accessories that are flirty & fun.
