Hey Limette's!
You've worked hard all year, so it is time to end 09' in a stylish & fun way. You only have a few hours to get ready so here is my look for tonight & some stylish tips!
My look for New Years Eve is a chic, sexy look with a rocker edge. I have been so inspired by the women of 2009 and their edgy, versatile, "I can do anything" style that I have to end my year with a look that expresses who I am & how I feel; srong & feminine!
I chose a gold striped sequin dress that I found at Macy's as the backdrop to my look. This dress is hot, sexy & fun! Because I am a fan of the boyfriend blazer, I chose this shrunken version to add a tailored touch to my look. To complete the look I threw on rhinestone gold hoop earrings & a great pair of leather zipper booties. This look has 4 great pieces which work well together, but can also be worn seperately after the holiday with other basics! This entire look cost me $175; an affordable, stylish New Years eve look that didn't break the bank! Time to celebrate!
Here are the items I purchased to achieve this eclectic rocker-chic look above:
Have a look but not sure how to complete it? Here are a few tips..
- Opaque tights will keep your legs warm & still look great with whatever frock you are donning tonight!
- Peep toe booties are super trendy and not just for the fall or spring- you can rock them in the winter just be sure to stay warm with tights!
- First Impressions are major, be sure to look great on the outside and wear some fun, fashionable outerwear!
- Have fun with your accessories, don't be afraid to mix & match metals. Silver & gold work together if you are confident enought to rock the look.
- The perfect lipstick can change everything!
Remember Limette's, whatever it is you wear tonight, be sure you wear it with confidence!
Happy New Year Limette's!
Lots of Lime,
